Caracoles, also known as snail tapas, are a traditional Spanish dish. You can find this dish in tapa bars and restaurants. However, there are two tapas served in Spain: Cabrillas and Caracoles. Ingredients
- One kilogram of snails
- One onion
- Two cloves of garlic
- One red pepper
- One boiled egg
- One tomato
- 100 grams of chorizo
- 50 grams of nuts
- Laurel
- Black pepper
- One glass of brandy
Instructions
- Start the process by bleaching the snails in the cooking water
- The purpose is to remove slime
- Cook for a third time for about 15 minutes
- Add onions to olive oil and cook for a few minutes
- Now add a bay leaf and red pepper and flame the ingredients with brandy
- Add diced tomatoes and cook to obtain a sauce
- Put in snails once you have cooked the sauce
- Cook the snails for 20-25 minutes
- Add ham, garlic, chorizo, and olive oil
- Combine these ingredients with snails
- Add some nuts and a boiled egg
- Cook for a few minutes
- Add salt to adjust the taste
- Serve to your family or friends
