- Four tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- Four cloves of minced garlic
- A half onion – diced
- One 10-ounce frozen chopped spinach – drained
- One 12-ounce of chickpea– drained
- A half teaspoon of salt
- A half teaspoon of cumin
Instructions
- Heat the extra virgin olive oil over low-medium heat in a skillet
- Cook onion and garlic for five minutes
- Stir in chickpeas and spinach
- Add salt and cumin to the skillet
- Use a spoon to stir and mash the chickpeas
- Cook the ingredients and remove them from the heat
- Serve the delicious spinach and chickpeas
