How to make Pide: Turkish Patty

  • 650 grams of flour
  • 200 ml of warm milk
  • 200 ml of warm water
  • 50 ml of oil
  • Two tablespoons of yogurt
  • One tablespoon of vinegar
  • One tablespoon of sugar–granulated
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • One teaspoon of powdered yeast
  • 260 grams of ground beef
  • One finely chopped red pepper
  • One finely chopped onion
  • One tomato – thinly sliced
  • One pinch of parsley – finely chopped
  • Two green peppers – finely chopped
  • One teaspoon of tomato paste
  • One teaspoon of red pepper
  • One teaspoon of black pepper
  • Two tablespoons of oil
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • One egg yolk


  1. Add water, milk, yogurt, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and yeast
  2. Mix these ingredients and then add 650 grams of flour
  3. Start the kneading process and get a dough
  4. Cover the dough and set aside for 15 minutes
  5. Take the dough and roll it into walnut-size pieces
  6. Cover again and set aside for 15 minutes
  7. Add 250 grams of ground beef, onion, red pepper, tomato, green peppers, and parsley
  8. Now add tomato paste, black pepper, salt, and oil and mix well
  9. Take the dough and roll them out by sprinkling the flour
  10. Put one tablespoon of filling and then combine the ends
  11. Apply egg yolk on the edges and put them on the baking tray
  12. Line the tray on the paper and bake for 25 minutes at 200 Celsius
  13. The dish is ready to serve
