Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients for the dough
- Two glasses of flour
- One egg
- One teaspoon of salt
- A half glass of water
You will need these ingredients for filling
- Two onions
- 300 grams of minced meat
- One teaspoon of salt
- One dessertspoonful of red pepper – ground
- One teaspoon of black pepper – ground
You will need these ingredients for the sauce
- Two glasses of yogurt
- Two cloves of garlic
- 150 grams of butter
Instructions
- Add flour, water, salt, and egg to a bowl and knead it
- Once kneaded, divide the dough into equal parts
- Set aside for 10-15 minutes
- Chop the onions into smaller pieces and add to the bowl
- Add ground black pepper, red pepper, and minced meat to the bowl
- Knead together and roll out the dough using a rolling pin
- Cut the dough into 1.5cm wide squares
- Add the filling ingredients in each square and close the edges
- Add some flour to the tray
- Next, add the squares to the tray
- Add water to the pot and boil it
- Add the Manti squares and boil
- Use a strainer to take out the Manti
- Mix yogurt and two cloves of garlic for the sauce
- Pour the mixture on the Manti
- Fry the butter and apply it to the Manti
