How to make Mozaik Pasta: Chocolate Cake

Mozaik Pasta has a deliciously chocolaty flavor. It is an integral part of Turkish urban cuisine. Although Mozaik pasta is not an original Turkish dish, it is one of the favorite desserts to enjoy after meals. Here are the ingredients and instructions to make Mozaik Pasta. Read on!


  • One cup of sugar
  • One pound of petit beurre biscuits
  • A half cup of cocoa powder
  • One tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • Four eggs
  • One cup of butter
  • Three ounces of bitter chocolate


  1. Start the process by breaking the petit beurre biscuits into small-sized squares and setting aside
  2. Now, melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler or microwave
  3. Whisk cocoa powder, vanilla, and sugar into the chocolate and butter mixture
  4. Next, whisk eggs and combine all ingredients to make a thick paste
  5. Use a large bowl to mix broken pieces of biscuits and chocolate mixture
  6. Use a clean plastic sheet to line the loaf pan
  7. Now fill the pan and pack the mixture down using the back of the spoon
  8. Smooth the top, close the edges and cover the top with plastic
  9. Place the Mozaik cake in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight
  10. Remove the cake from the fridge and unwrap the plastic cover
  11. Slice the cake based on your preferences
  12. Serve the cake and place the remaining one in the refrigerator

Note: We recommend placing the remaining cake in the fridge by covering it with plastic. You can refrigerate the Mozaik cake for a few days.
