Manti: Mini Ravioli – Turkish Dishes & Recipes

Manti, also known as Mini Ravioli, is one of Turkey’s most unique and delicious dishes. It is a traditional Turkish recipe, but people worldwide who love Turkish food make this dish at their homes. Here is the list of ingredients and instructions to make Manti. Read on!


You will need the following ingredients for the dough

  • Two glasses of flour
  • One egg
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • A half glass of water

You will need these ingredients for filling

  • Two onions
  • 300 grams of minced meat
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • One dessertspoonful of red pepper – ground
  • One teaspoon of black pepper – ground

You will need these ingredients for the sauce

  • Two glasses of yogurt
  • Two cloves of garlic
  • 150 grams of butter


  1. Add flour, water, salt, and egg to a bowl and knead it
  2. Once kneaded, divide the dough into equal parts
  3. Set aside for 10-15 minutes
  4. Chop the onions into smaller pieces and add to the bowl
  5. Add ground black pepper, red pepper, and minced meat to the bowl
  6. Knead together and roll out the dough using a rolling pin
  7. Cut the dough into 1.5cm wide squares
  8. Add the filling ingredients in each square and close the edges
  9. Add some flour to the tray
  10. Next, add the squares to the tray
  11. Add water to the pot and boil it
  12. Add the Manti squares and boil
  13. Use a strainer to take out the Manti
  14. Mix yogurt and two cloves of garlic for the sauce
  15. Pour the mixture on the Manti
  16. Fry the butter and apply it to the Manti
