Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients for lamb sauce
- One teaspoon of garlic – chopped
- One yellow onion – chopped
- Three tablespoons of fresh basil – chopped
- A half cup of fresh parsley – chopped
- A half teaspoon of paprika
- A half teaspoon of ground coriander seed
- A half teaspoon of ground cumin
- A half teaspoon of diced green bell pepper
- A half cup of chopped red bell pepper
- A half lemon – juiced
- Four teaspoons of olive oil
- Four plum tomatoes
- One pound of lean lamb – ground
- Six tablespoons of tomato paste
- Cayenne pepper and salt to taste
You will need the following ingredients for the dough
- Three or four teaspoons of active dry yeast
- A half teaspoon of white sugar
- One cup of warm water
- Five cups of all-purpose flour
- Two teaspoons of salt
- ¼ cup of vegetable oil
- A half cup of water
You will need these ingredients for garlic sauce
- One cup of plain yogurt
- A half teaspoon of fresh parsley – chopped
- ¼ teaspoon of garlic – crushed
- Salt and pepper to taste
You will need these ingredients for garnishing
- One cup of green cabbage – shredded
- One cup of red cabbage – shredded
Instructions
- Add garlic, basil, onion, mint, parsley, paprika, cumin, bell peppers, coriander, olive oil, and lemon juice in a food processor
- Heat a large-sized skillet over high-medium heat
- Pulse all veggies to make them finely chopped
- Add tomatoes and process to make a thick puree
- Now place the lamb in the skillet and decrease the heat to medium
- Add tomato paste and puree and mix well
- Cook the lamb for ten to fifteen minutes
- Stir in salt and cayenne pepper to taste
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and set aside
- Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator
- Dissolve sugar and yeast in one cup of warm water
- Add flour and salt and mix in a bowl
- Add veggies oil and a half cup of water to the yeast mixture
- Now pour the mixture over the flour
- Mix the dough using your hands
- Knead the dough for eight minutes
- Next, shape the dough into a ball
- Remove the lamb sauce from the fridge
- Prepare the garlic sauce by combining parsley, yogurt, salt, pepper, and crushed garlic and then stir well and set aside
- After punching the dough, transfer it to a work surface with flour
- Now cut the dough into ten portions
- Shape each one into a round and flatten it using your hand
- Place the rounds on the parchment paper
- Now preheat your oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit
- Add the lamb sauce and spoon it onto the dough
- Spread to the edges and bake pizzas on baking sheets lined with paper
- Bake pizzas for eight to ten minutes
- Now place them on a wire rack and set them aside to cool
- You can store the pizzas in an airtight container and refrigerator for three days or freezer for three months
- Place the pizzas at 350 degrees Fahrenheit to reheat pizzas for eight minutes
